Mutant Mouse Colony Management
Symbiontt provides customised management of mutant mouse colonies as a service. SMEs, start-ups and academic laboratories tend to benefit greatly from this arrangement as it allows their laboratory personnel to focus on benchwork, entrusting us with their animal work. We work closely with the clients, maintaining absolute confidentiality, maintaining their colonies at optimal cage space. This service extends from the basic humane caring of the animals, genotyping & breeding and expansion to generate sufficient animals for experiments. In addition, we also cryopreserve and store clients’ strains upon completion of respective studies as described in the Mouse and Rat Assisted Reproductive Services section.
